The Jacques Derrida Digital Audio Workstation (DERRI-DAW) is an openGL 3D engine designed in Pure Data. It receives midi messages from the KFK's gear and transform them into three dimensional reactive graphics. Backgrounds, objects, light sources and textures are connected to the beats, synths and rhythm, creating an unique audiovisual experience.
Pure Data (aka Pd) is a real-time graphical programming environment for audio, video, and graphical processing developed by Miller Puckette and company at IRCAM. Pd is a patcher programming language known as Max, mainly used to design synthesizers, sound-aware graphics and video art installations.
